The University of Leeds, a leading Russell Group institution, was recently named the University of the Year by The Times and The Sunday Times’ Good University Guide 2017. A top 100 university (QS world rankings), it has consistently appeared in this prestigious list and offers over 500 Undergraduate and 200 Postgraduate courses to 30,000 + students.

The University has a large city based campus, in the bustling Northern city of Leeds with over 6,000 International students studying at this world-leading institution. The campus is a couple of minutes walk from the city centre and has all of the facilities that are expected of a university of this quality and history. In recent years there has been a £520 million investment into the campus creating new sports facilities including the largest gym area of any UK University.

Students are at the heart of everything at Leeds, with the student union building recently undergoing a £20m transformation. The union has 3 award-winning venues – Stylus, Pyramid and Function – and has played host to numerous bands and headline acts over the years.

Pathway Programmes

The University of Leeds International Foundation Year, provided directly by the University of Leeds, is a nine-month programme, which fully prepares students for entry onto an undergraduate degree at the university. Additionally, the University Leeds works with Study Group, an education provider offering one-year foundation programmes for international students. Pathway programmes built on a students’ existing knowledge with vital study skills, academic knowledge and English language training.
